The WGR968 Long-Range Wireless Anemometer is the one that's included with the Oregon Scientific WMR968 Weather Station, and WMR112 Weather Station Set.
If you have one of these stations and need a replacement anemometer, or wish to add one to your WMR112A, Oregon Scientific makes the WGR968 available separately.

The WGR968 Anemometer measures both wind speed and direction. The wind speed operating range is 0 to 125 miles per hour (0 to 56 meters per second), with resolution accuracy of +/-0.4 mph (+/-0.2 m/s). During steady wind conditions, the anemometer transmits new readings to the display unit once every minute. Wind direction operating range is 0° to 359°. Data updates to the display unit occur every 14 seconds.
Information from the WGR968 Anemometer is used not only for wind speed and direction indications on the display unit but also for the wind chill temperature indication. The wind speed indication on the display station can be set for m/s, kph, mph, or knots. Also, the maximum speed and direction of wind gusts can also be displayed along with the date and time they occur.

Long-range capability allows the anemometer to be placed up to 300 feet (100 meters) from the weather station (display unit). The anemometer is powered by the STR938 Solar Transmitter, which is included with the anemometer. The STR938 has battery backup, and the required two AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries are supplied and pre-installed. Oregon Scientific recommends that super lithium batteries be used for weather conditions under 32°F (0°C).
