The TX3UP Temperature Sensor with Probe senses temperature via a probe at the end of a 10-foot (3m) wire, making it ideal for use in pools, spas, etc. Like the TX3U, this unit has an LCD display for local viewing.
The sensor is wall-mounted, transmit 433 MHz signals and operates on two AAA alkaline batteries. Average battery life is approximately one year.
