A wireless way to gauge and transmit temperatures indoors or out, this sensor from La Crosse Technology works seamlessly with a range of La Crosse weather stations and clocks. Trim and weather-resistant, the piece continuously monitors changes in temperature and communicates them via a powerful 915 MHz transmission. Easy to set up, the unit works great for making sure temperature is the right level in greenhouses, workshops, and other outbuildings, or for checking temp info for a second outdoor spot like a garden. Measuring approximately 5 by 1 by 1-1/2 inches, the unit comes with a stand and takes two AA batteries, not included.

The La Crosse Technology TX29U-IT 915 MHz Wireless Temperature Sensor is used in conjunction with La Crosse Technology wireless temperature stations that use the 915 MHz Instant Transmission wireless technology.
